1) What was your biggest accomplishment this month?
Being more calm and positive in my thinking and my actions.
2) What was your biggest challenge this month?
Living in the present and not in the past.
3) What things should you do differently?
I need to be focusing on what is happening now and not what happened or what will happen. I can’t change what is done and I can’t control everything that will happen. All I should be doing is dealing with what is happening now and not worry about anything else.
4) What do you want less of in your life right now?
Sickness, I have been sick for I don’t even know how long but it feels like months. I just want to be physically healthy.
5) What do you want more of in your life right now?
Positive thinking. I want to change my negative outlook into a positive one.
6) What situation have you learned from the most this month?
I don’t think there is one situation I have learned from but over the past few weeks, I’ve learned that taking time to think about a problem or a certain feeling, instead of just rushing in, is better for myself. If I have time to figure out my thoughts and why I’m feeling or thinking them I can look at the situation more rationally.
7) Who are you thankful for this month?
Deepak Chopra, I know that sounds weird but after doing 2 weeks of his meditations I can already tell a difference in myself.
8) How did the monthly goals go?
Eh, some were good some didn’t happen at all. I didn’t exercise at all. I know, I’m a terrible person. My reading needs a lot of improvement but I did read more than before so a slight improvement. The meditation was a slow start but once the 21-day challenge started I have done it every day and found I really enjoy it but that I’m nervous that when it ends I’ll lose all that I have learned. The vlog went live earlier this month as I posted but after a week everyone in the house became sick so I haven’t really filmed much after that first week. I think once my sister comes into town there will be more going on for me to film other than sick people napping. I did do a really good job of taking more pictures. I posted most of them to my Instagram and have been getting really great feedback and followers so I’m very happy with that.
So, all in all, I failed at some and succeeded at others. I really want to get my reading on track, that is the big one for me. But I am happy with most of the outcomes of my goals.
